Founded in 1927, the Northern Indiana Conference (NIC) is one of Indiana’s premier high school athletic conferences, built on a tradition of excellence, competition, and sportsmanship. Today, the conference is home to eight member schools: Elkhart, Mishawaka Marian, New Prairie, Penn, South Bend Adams, South Bend Riley, South Bend Saint Joseph, and South Bend Washington. Together, these schools provide outstanding opportunities for student-athletes to compete at the highest level while promoting leadership, integrity, teamwork, and school pride.
